2. The “School” as a season of specific preparation and equipping for a specific “vocation”, or serving place in the Body of Christ, and the harvest field--- the “world”.
3. An Educational approach to enable Christian Leaders to:
1. Move from holding beliefs imparted by indoctrination, to knowing and understanding what one believes and why.
2. Ask the right questions and provide an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to speak into situations instead of only going the way of tradition or the familiar.
3. See old things from new viewpoints, and understand how they fit together in a Kingdom perspective.
4. Impart the unchangeable Gospel into a changing world with multiple cultures.
5. Become excited about Truth in a way that overcomes the natural fear of risk and uncertainty, which allows one to set sail into the future of uncharted waters.
6. Learn and appreciate why and how our spiritual forefathers provided a road that has brought us to where we are today.
7. Become equipped with some new facts and many new tools.
8. Develop the ability to apply the mind to all issues without falling into intellectualism.
9. Know the material, how to reproduce it in others and then how to be a servant leader to those who will follow you.
10. To understand what work belongs to the Holy Spirit and what we are to do.
11. To have “…ears that hear and eyes to see…” in order to follow the Spirit.
4. Teaching the mind to serve the spirit.
5. Leadership is to spring from the indwelling Holy Spirit, not the individual person (vessel).
6. Leadership is not telling people where to go, or what to do, but taking them on a journey to discover those truths themselves.
7. Right questions are necessary to plant into people in order for right answers to “have a place to ‘go’”.
